• James Bow (Kitchener): James Bow has lived in Kitchener since 1991 and has worked throughout the region. He is a freelance journalist and the author of three fantasy novels for young adults. His passions include public transit and politics.

• Michael Hiemstra (New Hamburg, Wilmot): Michael Hiemstra has lived in New Hamburg for over ten years and has worked in Waterloo for nearly fifteen. He has been a regular contributor to the New Hamburg Independent and Waterloo Chronicle weekly newspapers and has been blogging for over five years. Michael has dabbled in citizen journalism projects and encourages people to shop locally, supporting businesses and artisans based in our community. Michael is a Ruby on Rails programmer by day for a large enterprise software firm in Waterloo, and has just recently started settling into the routine of working from his home office.
